Why is it that when a friend is in need, we suddenly appreciate what it means to live? It’s in these moments that I no longer care about my fears and insecurities. I willingly enter the hollow cavernous shed where my pain resides and remind myself that I exist to do better than this.

Listening to my heart
No, I’m not about to write an emotional post about life-changing decisions. Well, maybe it’s life-changing, I’m not sure yet. We’ve been trying to eat healthier in my house. At least we’ve been trying to eat more whole grains and vegetables. My dad had a bypass surgery last month which prompted me to realize we actually DO have heart disease in our family history....
